10% cap — agreements with fees above 10% of the recoverable property are invalid (Conn. Gen. Stat. §3-70a).

Waiting Period

Agreements entered on or after Jan 1, 2023 are invalid if made within 2 years after the unclaimed-property report was required to be filed (§3-70a).
