Fee Cap

10% cap — total compensation may not exceed 10% of the value of the amount claimed (Ala. Code §35-12-93).

Waiting Period

Agreements are void from the date property is presumed abandoned until 24 months after it is paid or delivered to the Treasurer (Ala. Code §35-12-93).
